Date: May 28, 2020

Time: 6:30-8:00pm

Location: Online Zoom Presentation

On Thursday May 28th at 6:30pm, Friends of Sears Island and the Belfast Free Library will co-host a virtual presentation about wildflower identification with Maine Master Naturalist Roberta Sharp. The program will be offered live online via Zoom. To register for this program visit belfastlibrary.org/events or email bharrington@belfastlibrary.org.

This program will cover which wildflowers bloom in this area of Maine as the seasons progress from spring to summer, and key characteristics to help you identify various species. After the program, you’ll feel inspired to explore in nature and see how many of these species you can spot! In addition to her Maine Master Naturalist training, Roberta Sharp is a wildflower enthusiast and avid birder, a docent at the Wild Gardens of Acadia, and has led programs for the Appalachian Mountain Club.
