Local Trails Talk in Searsport

Date: May 9, 2018

Time: 4:30-6:30pm

Location: Carver Public Library, Searsport, ME

We wanted to share some information about a talk and walk happening Wednesday, May 9th, from 4:30-6:30pm:
Are you interested in hiking, running, skiing, hunting, or paddling but are not sure where to go? You may be surprised to learn that there are some amazing trails and conserved land right in your own backyard! On May 9th join Hale Morrell with Coastal Mountains Land Trust and Aleta McKeage from Waldo County Soil and Water District to learn about outdoor recreation opportunities in Waldo County. We will discuss local trails and where to find them, opportunities to join guided group outings, and how to get involved with conservation efforts. The talk will begin at Carver Memorial Library at 4:30 and finish with a walk at Long Cove Preserve in Searsport at 5:30. Please register for the talk and walk at info@coastalmountains.org
(This event is not sponsored by Friends of Sears Island.)
