Winter Hiking in Midcoast Maine

March 8, 2023 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Friends of Sears Island and Carver Memorial Library will co-sponsor a live Zoom presentation titled “Winter Hiking in Midcoast Maine,” on Wednesday, March 8, at 6:30 pm. Mish Sommers of Happier Outside will share photos and recommendations of local hiking trails while also discussing winter safety precautions and the benefits of spending time outside, even during the coldest months of the year. To join this free Zoom presentation, simply visit  https://networkmaine.zoom.us/j/82698298013 on March 8 at 6:30pm.

Mish Sommers’ travels led her to settle in Maine in 1999, from her homeland of Australia. She lives in Lincolnville with her husband and teenage kids, and is happiest spending time outdoors – climbing a hill, paddling a shoreline, or sitting around a campfire with friends. She founded Happier Outside in 2011 as a way to inspire people of all ages to spend more time outside. Happier Outside offers three Women’s Wellness Walk series each year, a mindfulness meditation program, individualized strategy sessions, and inspirational personal and household products with a Happier Outside theme.
